Carlton Collins
A prolific songwriter and entertainer that can rock your socks off or lay you back with a soothing ballad. He has written songs that have been recorded by Joe Stampley, Moe Bandy, Archie Campbell and he has been a signed artist on Mercury/Polygram as well as several independent record labels. While living in Nashville, Tennessee he was a signed songwriter for Conway Twitty's Hello Darlin' music publishing company and had songs recorded by domestic and foreign artists alike. Carlton has opened shows for Kenny Rogers, Johnny Paycheck, Donna Fargo and others. A veteran performer, he had a chart record in Sweden as the lead singer of the southern blues band, "The Gatordogs". Carlton's newest CD (released December '07) is called "Roses In The Snow" and it has been receiving positive response. Carlton Collin's live shows have received critical acclaim for his high energy showmanship that guarantees to entertain.
