Music City Man I had been thinking about doing a country CD when I was introduced to veteran producer Phillip Wolfe, a former member of Trick Pony. Phillip was producing a session for a pop band at the time and we clicked harmoniously. Phillip agreed to handle the production on the Music City Man CD and so we began the recording in "Shadow Lane Studios". Most of the session musicians were new to me and they played great. The "Music City Man" session drummer, Rudy Miller, and Phillip Wolfe, would work with me again on my next CD. I wrote the songs about life. "Everything But The Lady" (my personal favorite), was previously recorded by Joe Stampley on Epic record label. The title cut, "Music City Man" was composed way back in the late 1970's and rewritten in 2002 |
